It's Champagne Conversations Today!

SO WHAT'S Champagne Conversations?

"We're sowing seeds of fun and friendship! Champagne Conversations is an avant-garde cocktail event for the bright, the bold and the brave. A party, for the young and young at heart. It's an evening of classy champagne cocktails, beautiful ballads and banter; as well as wild and wicked works from some of Nigeria's biggest music-makers".

WHY AM I HERE?
You're here because we invited you. Because you agreed to come, and our bouncers allowed you in. Okay, now, seriously – you're here to have fun. Loads of it. To have drinks. Loads of it. And to have such a helluva time you won't want to leave…

WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
We're surprised you'd ask! This is all about You! We saw that you're bored and lonely and sick of all those gatherings they call 'events'. So we thought to come to your rescue by putting up this gig where, errrm, nothing actually happens. Yeah, you know? An event where no event actually happens (well, apart from drinking and chatting and stealing glances at anything that tickles your fancy…)
You still wanna know what this is all about? Maybe you'll ask Google?

WHOSE IDEA?
We won't even lie – we came about this concept on one of those many nights while overdosing on Rose, at the rate of four bottles to one person. Warning: don't try this at home.

WHAT'S WILD LIFE?
Now, that used to be stuff about forests and animals right? These days, wild life is what you see when you lounge in the VIP of a Lagos night club: lavish drinks, daring men and women. Naughty whispers and loud gazes, and enough crazy music to make you lose your mind.
That's exactly what we're going to witness here tonight. If you think this is too much for you, you may now take your leave. And no, no matter how much you drink or dance, you 're not allowed to jump in the pool and hit your head on the hard floor.
Yes, you're allowed to ask the lady you just got introduced to, whether the ring she's wearing is a wedding band, or graduation band. She's allowed to smack you across the face.

CAN I JUMP IN THE POOL?
Didn't you get the message already? What part of DO NOT JUMP IN THE POOL do you not understand?
WHAT'S IN THE GLASSES?
Champagne. Champagne-based cocktails. And although the servers won't tell you, we also have a lot of non-alcoholic drinks for people like Tee A and Ali Baba who don't have the balls for liquor

CAN I GET DRUNK?
Yes

DON'T LIKE ALCOHOL?
Ask Tee A, Ayo Animashaun, Ali Baba and all. They are our officers-in-charge of non-alcoholic drinkers.

WHO'S PERFORMING?
No performances, in the real sense of it. But we're enjoying rich, beautiful music from two of the best acts in the country: Shuga Band, and DJ Jimmy JATT.

SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
Nothing really. Just flow with the mood; move with the flow. Meet and mingle. And get tipsy. Or drunk.

A Sodium Brand Solutions initiative, Champagne Conversations is made possible by the huge support of MTN Funlink.

Missing Baby

"‎Hi all, sure you guyz av heard of the kidnapped baby ENIOLUWA. Just received the full gist and tot its ok to share it with everyone:
For those of us who are mums, or planning to be very soon, here are some security tips for us to work with, but the major thing is for God's guidance and protection over our families.
A 10-months old baby was kidnapped in an estate on Saturday morning 6.45 am by their 2-weeks old nanny, right under the parents nose. Very well behaved lady indeed, named Victoria. This family had been married for 6 years and this happens to be their first. As special as this baby is, the mum and dad are usually always around or at least a relative, the nanny does not go out with him alone, even within the compound. But she still succeeded in kidnapping this baby…the question is how??

The dad is usually in the habit of locking their compound gate by himself at night and opening the gate very early in the morning, (even though they had a security guard), so on that fateful day, he went downstairs to open the gate. The mum apparently wanted to take her bath, and the dad was downstairs, so naturally she called on the nanny to hold the baby for her so she could quickly have her bath.
The nanny carefully strapped the baby on her back and pretended to be going about her normal chores, she swept the porch downstairs and cleared the waste into the bin, then she carried the waste basket and told the gateman she wanted to throw the waste outside the gate. …bam! That was it, she escaped with the baby and by the time her number could be reached, the call was traced to Seme border at 9.00 am the same day, in just 3 hours!.

They have been contacting the parents of the child with about 20 different numbers within 6 days from Cameroun, and other locations, but have not named their price yet, apparently because the baby had just undergone an operation some days to the kidnap,  and was bleeding from the surgery point. They are yet to name their price .
Above, is the picture of the missing baby and the supposed nanny that stole 10-month old Enioluwa from his parents in Magodo over a week ago. Please report to the nearest Police Station if sighted anywhere. Also, kindly use as your profile pictures on your phones if possible - do your part to support his parents and to ensure his safe return to his family. God bless you".
